Fused Finery is a teaching studio where you can learn the art of glass fusion, gather inspiration from like-minded souls, and find the glass supplies you need to bring your idea into reality.
Put simply, glass fusion is the art of stacking 2 to 3 layers of compatible glass
and then melting the stacked glass in a kiln.
After kilnforming, the glass can take many different forms depending on the intended use.
It can be slumped in a ceramic mold into shapes such as plates or bowls.
It can be embellished with findings and become wearable jewelry art.
It can be whimsical garden art to dress up your yard.
It can be a spoon rest to adorn your kitchen.
Using different methods, texture can be added to give your pieces dimension.
The design possibilities are endless...
